About this blog

On August 6, 2010, Chantz Compton, my boyfriend and best friend, died by suicide.

I've decided to make this blog as a way to share my feelings, thoughts, and experiences and whatever else is to come in the next months/years.

This is also a way of raising awareness about the realities of suicide and those affected by it.

It has been 3 years since Chantz's death, but I've continued to write, although not as frequently, as this is a never ending journey. I still feel compelled to share, help, and offer hope to those who may be going through their own journey of loss.
